When your programme guide first loads, it drops you right in the middle of primetime. TiVo Genie also loads the first few hours of the next day so you can catch those midnight showings without loading the next day’s guide.

Click and drag across the timeline at the top or bottom to scroll smoothly through each 24 hour period of programming. Use the Jump To buttons at the top of the guide to quickly jump to different sections of the day.

Hover your mouse over any programmes on display and get instant information: an info box featuring the title and a short description will let you know more without lifting a finger!

The programming guide loads only 27 hours at a time, use the day timeline at the top to jump to different days of programming.

With up to seven days of programming information, TiVo Genie lets you schedule programmes up to two weeks out without a problem.

Set your default recording settings the first time you sign in to TiVo Genie and you never have to fuss with them again. Clicking the “Record” button on the side bar applies these default settings. Use the With Options tab to set individual recording options for a specific programme.

Use the Categories feature to filter the programme guide by specific genres.

Get TiVo Genie on your mobile by simply visiting http://m.mytivo.com.au on your internet-enabled mobile’s browser. Blackberry users have their own launcher for download as well.

Use the A La Carte tab to see all upcoming episodes of your selected programme so you can pick and choose which specific episodes you want recorded.
